Nell’ambito degli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile dell’Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite CremonaFiere e Unido Itpo Italy hanno promosso la conferenza trasmessa online ‘Boosting women’s research and innovation in dairy and livestock sectors’ con l’obiettivo di sostenere la ricerca delle donne nei settori lattiero-caseario e zootecnico e nell’ambito dell’innovazione portata nell’allevamento attraverso uno scambio tra ricercatrici ed imprenditrici di Italia e Pakistan per apprendere e condividere esperienze e buone pratiche.
All’incontro hanno preso parte Diana Battaggia, direttrice di Unido Itpo Italy: Sara Soldi, responsabile studi clinici di Advanced Analytical Technologies (AAT); Marina Elli, responsabile ricerca & sviluppo di Advanced Analytical Technologies (AAT); Elisabetta Quaini, business partner e manager presso Barbiselle S.r.l. Agro Farm, con un esempio di eccellenza italiana; Humera Iqbal, ricercatrice e project manager di ACIAR Aik Sath Livestock Projects in Pakistan, che ha illustrato il ruolo strategico di ricerca ed innovazione nel miglioramento di efficienza e gestione della filiera dell’allevamento; Nushat Qaiser, direttrice esclusiva e titolare di Usama Dairies, con un caso di successo dal Pakistan; Saira Ahmed, direttrice per la sostenibilità e l’ambiente presso la Capital University of Science & Technology di Islamabad.
Moderata da Ester Temperato, investment promotion expert di Unido Itpo Italy, la conferenza online si è aperta con il discorso di benvenuto della direttrice di Unido Itpo Italy Diana Battaggia, che ha dichiarato: ‘In Pakistan l’industria lattiero-casearia e dell’allevamento ricopre un ruolo strategico; è dunque fondamentale promuovere uno sviluppo basato sulla ricerca, sull’innovazione e sulla partecipazione femminile per effettuare un upgrade nel settore che possa contribuire ad una crescita socio-economica inclusiva e sostenibile all’interno del Paese’.
L’evento ha evidenziato la presenza di molteplici opportunità e ampio spazio per attività di collaborazione in vari ambiti del settore; seguiranno ora nuove attività di follow-up da parte di Unido Itpo Italy per continuare a promuovere il trasferimento di tecnologie e investimenti e la nascita di potenziali partenariati tra Italia e Pakistan per uno sviluppo industriale inclusivo e sostenibile.
L’evento è solo una tappa della proficua collaborazione fra CremonaFiere e Unido Itpo Italy in qualità di rappresentanti rispettivamente del modello produttivo dell’allevamento nazionale con le Fiere Zootecniche Internazionali di Cremona e dell’attività per lo sviluppo industriale con particolare focus al settore primario. L’attività intrapresa di congiunzione fra gli attori della filiera produttiva agroalimentare italiana e le esperienze internazionali degli stessi settori è fondamentale per una crescita comune, condivisione di strategie e raggiungimento di obiettivi su scala internazionale.
